I am trauma informed in everything I do. This means I look at everything with the nervous system, body and mind and expect the presence of trauma. We process the trauma out of the body using somatic healing such as brain spotting and EMDR in positive psychology practices to help process the trauma caused by narcissistic abuse and other emotional wounds, dealing with the inner child and helping to heal and thrive. This is a very relaxing process and you can expect positive results every time. This is the thing you have been looking for and it will seem like magic. I will help you to understand this process so that you may heal anything from physical pain to emotional pain caused by the trauma that has been trapped for years. Being alone and reading about this will only bring awareness but it will not heal you. The healing must be done on a deep nervous system level with somatic healing.

I use brain spotting and EMDR therapy along with tools and techniques that will help you on a daily basis also. So that you can feel better and eventually thrive like you never thought possible.

What exactly is trauma?

Trauma is an emotional response to an event or series of events that are deeply distressing or disturbing to an individual. This can range from one-time incidents, such as accidents, natural disasters, or violent attacks, to ongoing stressors, such as chronic illness, emotional abuse, or living in a conflict zone. 

Trauma is not defined solely by the event itself but by the individual's experience of it. Two people can undergo the same event, yet their psychological and emotional responses may differ significantly. Trauma can disrupt the individual's sense of safety, leading to feelings of helplessness and a diminished sense of self and can affect one's ability to cope with and enjoy day-to-day life. 

The impact of trauma can be immediate or delayed, with symptoms surfacing long after the traumatic event has passed, where the effects of trauma become deeply integrated into an individual's identity and way of interacting with the world.

Physical Trauma

Physical trauma results from bodily harm or injury, such as accidents, assaults, or medical procedures. The physical pain and recovery process can also lead to emotional distress.

Emotional Trauma

Emotional trauma arises from experiences that leave a person feeling overwhelmed, helpless or threatened. This can include abuse, neglect, loss, or witnessing violence.
